How to put word documents onto deviant art!

Hi,

I NEED HELP!!!

I'm trying to put one of my stories --which is a "Microsoft word document"-- onto deviant art, but I'm not sure how...

I do have a few questions:

What category do you place the file in? I tried putting it into fan art>fan fiction, it wouldn't work so do I need to convert it?

If I do, then to what?

It would be VERY helpful indeed if someone replied, because I get too irritated when trying to solve the "mystery" of how to submit my stories!!!
